Foundry

The foundry at HSS is Phillips' fourth since he moved to the Boston area in 1970. He has been casting his own sculpture for more than 35 years. The new foundry includes tig welding, a fork lift, one ton jib crane, and a 200 pound capacity furnace for melting of iron, bronze, and aluminum. Pattern making as well as resin bonded sand and green sand operations allow in house control of projects.
